Elite Squads Program Being part of our Elite Squads is a very exciting accomplishment for any of our students to achieve. Our Elite Squads commence from our introductory 6 & under squad and progress up through various ages to our 15 & under Squad. Passion, performance, teamwork are integral components of our squads. In each squad our
teachers are able to showcase each individual dancer’s talent at competitions whilst also instilling team spirit. Not only are the students given the opportunity to further extend their technique and ability beyond their normal syllabi classes, our Elite Squads develop each dancer and take them to new heights with their knowledge, abilities and performance optimisation. 
Our Elite Squad Program is now made up of the following components:
- Performance Routines
- Development Class Workshops
- Performance Review Reports
Being part of the Elite Squads Program, students will be given the opportunity to further extend their technique and abilities beyond their normal syllabi classes. Other performance opportunities may also include community events throughout the year. Our Elite squads will also be featured at our annual end of year concert as this allows the entire school to see the professionalism and camaraderie that can be achieved by being part of our Elite Squads Program.
"Emily has been a member of Performance Groups at BAD since she was six years old and has enjoyed her experience immensely. Being part of a team has taught Emily many life lessons such as commitment, dedication and camaraderie. I know for sure, Emily has made lifelong friends with her dance buddies! She has felt a sense of pride representing her dance school at competitions and events. Performance groups, solos and duos have given Emily the opportunity to become more confident in herself and her dance. Emily was just like any other six-year-old dancer, except she maybe had a little more sass than some! However, as soon as she began participating in eisteddfod groups her technique and performance skills started improvingbeyond what I ever imagined she would be able to do at such a young age. She has participated in theeisteddfod groups from 2004, every year up to today and she’s been challenged in each and every routine, allowing her to develop the important skills sheneeds to become the professional dancer she aspires to be. Over theyears she advanced andflourished under all the teachers at Brisbane Academy of Dance; they taught her everything she knows and without their expertise and knowledge she would not be the dancer she is today." - Sonya Elite Squad members are invited by the Principal to join towards the end of each year.
