Ages 2 to 5
Age 2 Turning 3
This is a fun class designed for 2 yr. olds that love music and to move! One parent/guardian is asked to come along & participate in the class with their child helping them take their very first steps in dance. This is a great introduction for both boys and girls learning all about warming up, stretching, nursery rhymes, role-playing and obstacle courses to foster a love for dance and enhance gross motor skills.
For 3 to 5
Boys and girls love our Ready, Set, Dance classes. The music is a mix of traditional songs and the latest hits that kids love. Jazz, tap, hip hop, singing, music, acting – there’s something for everyone. Our classes are designed to give boys and girls confidence, coordination and creativity in a safe, professional environment. With a major emphasis on FUN, our classes will be the highlight of your child’s week. There are different levels and variations within the framework of our classes, which cater for a child just starting their dance journey or a five year old getting ready for big school.
For 3 to 5
These classes are fun-filled classes for the little ballet dancer. Boys and girls learn the basic fundamentals of ballet increasing control, co-ordination and confidence developing sensitivity to music and learning to express feelings and emotions through movement. Our curriculum is split into two levels and designed to develop a young dancer’s imagination.
These classes will cover the basic technique through structured choreographed routines and through ADA syllabi work.
These classes will cover jazz and tap through ADA syllabi work. The students doing this course will be extended in all technique, flexibility and through strengthening exercises.
Our aim with these classes is to develop the dancer’s confidence in all facets of performance work.
As these grades are getting more advanced, the students are given the choice of whether to continue both or either field.
These classes are designed to teach students challenging combinations while receiving
a high level fitness workout.
Exercises are given to enhance flexibility, improve mind and body co-ordination, increase strength through correct placement, help minimise injury and enhance performance.
